    The Plymouth Whalers lost the game, but they won the battle. The Whalers were defeated, 2-1, in overtime at Sault Ste. Marie, but the point for the regulation tie was enough to ensure them home-ice advantage against the Greyhounds, whom they will meet again in the first round of the Ontario Hockey League playoffs. Games 1-2 at Compuware Arena will be at 7 p.m. March 19-20.
